This is follow up to a post of mine regarding my idea to use an electic kit with an assistive mobility device called a knee walker.

As im not technical minded or versed in even the basics of buiding one of these things , i wanted to see if there were any kits available any one was aware of that might accommodate a wheel of 7 and half to 10 " ?

The power or speed is not so important , but it would defintely need to be lithium and have the options of manual or freewheel , with perhaps some form of breaking ( if the wheel was larger than 7 and half )

I have seen some kits in china and other places like here that seem to cater for custom builds ( Im still waiting to hear back from them )

So if any one has any suggestions or ideas id really appreciate it, as most of the ebike kits are simply too powerful ,or have hubs that are purely for larger wheels.

cheers,

It strikes me that maybe you should be looking at wheelchair motors rather than bike kits? Just a thought.
