I have charged the battery

I have charged my external li-ion battery and it held a charge and then I connect the bms to it I get nothing with the tester light? do I connect to the bike without the bms and test it?

Hi Steve

yes you can connect direct
and go for a ride

you need to borrow a voltmeter if you don't have one



can you measure the voltage of individual cells and the whole pack

Then we can look at a BMS

I connected battery to bike and it works and The cells are in a aluminium case
stuck in it with a big red and black wire coming out the top which I charged it from.
I am pretty sure the bms is broke.
I need to get the wires firmly joined without the bms before I can use it on the bike properly
I need to get a volt meter fro the shops in a bit and see if ther battery will move out of the case.

The battery is well glued to the case Its not going to come out Frank


I need to join 2 of these male connectors to bypass the bms and anyone now what they are called?
