Finding my (electric) wheels

I am picking up a new Wisper 905 sport on Thursday. I cant sleep. My stomach is all over the place. Everything in my life is taking second place. At 61 years old i didnt expect this reaction. I have had excitement before i retired as a paramedic. This tops the lot. The members on this forum are fantasic. I go on a Motorhome forum and it has not got the friendlyness as you guys and gals.
Thanks to you all for helping make me giddy. Now where is that imodium?

That all sounds very familiar to me. The worst part is when your new baby arrives and then you have to spend hours charging the battery before you can go out and play.... Waiting 4 hours for the battery to complete it's first charge seemed like one of the longest waits in my life. I still love my Agattu as much as the first day it arrived :)

Hi Vic.
I know the feeling well and yes I am nearly at the 60 post as well.
I guess you will be taking it on the back of your motor home to explore more, although there are plenty of suitable off road tracks around your part of the world without going far.
We recently had a few days at Poolsbrook country park, Chesterfield.
Plenty of suitable tracks around there and hardly touched a road.

Your right this is a great forum and has saved me making a few mistakes, who would have thought sticking a battery-motor-bike together could be so full of pitfalls.

Take care

Mart

Just wait till you start to rid it, you'll be like a kid in a sweet factory :D

After nearly 1700 miles I still love riding my Wisper 905se City. Rain or shine, we bomb along together. Fantastic fun.

Best regards.

Vikki.

Hi Vic,

Enjoy your new Wisper....

My 905e Sport is just over a year old and I still find it great fun to ride. The bike has been very reliable, just had one problem with the pickup sensor failing, this was changed out by Wisper. The bike is used mainly for shopping and local rides, I always have a smile on my face when I glide past other cyclist's struggling on hills.

I am also surprised by how many people have stopped me to talk about the bike, many never seeing an electric bike before.

Best of Luck
John

Still enjoying my Wisper. I use it purely for leisure - 5am rides along quiet B roads.. Can't beat it!

Hi Vic,

Welcome to the forum.
It turns out there are quite a few of us on here with motorhomes as well as e-bikes. I've had a look at a couple of motorhome forums and never been tempted. Maybe we should have a sub-section here.
