i have a kalkhoff agattu bought new in nov 2015,at first i was very pleased with it i have covered just over 1k miles ,i use it every day,but have now noticed its lost a lot of power over the last month,thought it was battery so borrowed a new 1 to try,it was just the same, so im at a loss as to whats happend so any ideas what could cause this or better still how to cure it

I've come across this a few times. It might be that a software upgrade could fix it but in my experience it usually doesn't. You can also try checking out magnet / sensor alignment and obvious things like brake adjustment. Generally, I believe, that sometimes a fault develops in the torque sensor that stops the motor delivering its max assist unless you really give if full welly yourself. As this is internal to the motor, the only resolution I'm aware of is to replace the motor. As your bike should still be under warranty you should be able to get it sorted.
