Im rebuilding this model bike as its currently in kit form!
Wiring stripped out from frame, motor off etc....
Looking for parts list/owners manual or any documentation to assist me in this project.
All the ones i have seen are for the newer models with the newer lcd displays.
This one has the 300w motor and older type lcd display.
Doing a look ahead fro what parts are required-can see a chain front sprocket and brake wires so far.
Any ideas of which type/model of chain?-its years since ive rebuilt a bike from scratch!
It has the 9 speed derailleur fitted.
This is the motor/wheels and controller i bought on ebay last week, the seller gave me the rest of the bike as i offered to take it all off his hands for the grand total of £100!
Why he stripped it down to resell as what i can tell the only things missing are the battery and side stand!
So im hoping to get this one rebuilt and sell on my 2009 model (250w)-all being well.
Thanks in advance...
Simon

Standard 9 speed chain will do it.
I have a front sprocket the 44 tooth one.
Rear sprockets can be had In diffent sizes.
Check out Fleccs web site for the setup. I had to cut and resolder the control cable for mine.

image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg Rebuild ongoing. Roughly put everything temp in place to test before final fix. Will connect up the electrics firstly where he has cut off the controllers plug to remove it from the frame. The 8 wires are different colours to the plug connector at the motor end....will research this. Also there is a small PCB with a fuse on board? What is this for?
The gearing I will have to look at as it has a 41 tooth at the crank with 11 teeth at the motor and also the small sprocket on the cassette is 11, all badly worn. There is also wear on the derailer idling sprocket so I can see why the Chain would not track correctly.
Things I have noticed so far is the cable from the shift down to the derailer is severed/cut off. The battery base holder or framework is missing along with all the plastic guards etc. The chain is not present so will contact 50 cycles to see if I can get the correct length one.
So I thought I would do the electrical side first before progressing to overhauling the gearing side, then move onto the brakes which are not working. Also have to replace the stem (I think that's what it's called) as he complained about the wobble! There's a big split in it! Also not sure what the magnet and sensor does on the rear wheel I'm assuming it's for speed pick up for the motor.
Will update as I progress any pointers most welcome.
Thanks.

Chain length is usually around 112 links but just buy two and use a tool to make your own length to fit.
If your replacing the front forks then now is a good time to get a front disk brake.
