kalkhoff pro connect with impulse 2.0 issues

Hi all
My kalkhoff pro connect with impulse 2.0 motor has suddenly stopped giving any assistance. The engine does however give walk mode assistance when I press long on the ± sign. When riding, the Odometer reads the speed and distance too but no assistance at all.
Given that the engine turns when in walk mode I am thinking that the more is still okay?
I don't know why I suspected the speed sensor as faulty, I have changed it but the fault still present.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
