Hi this is a brief review/comparison.
Wisper 905se v Kalkhoff pro s sram
Motor 250w 300w
Gears 9 27
Speed 18/19 that's it 25 and more if you have the legs
Hill climbing good v/good potentially very good, sometimes
i fly up hills othes not. finding right
gear is a learning curve.
Riding when Brilliant! drop If you are tired not so good
tired down couple requires more rider input,
gears, easy throttle power not good. weak 12mph.
Build quality Good with a few Excellent, though lighting wire thin
issues, spokes and poorly finished at rear light.
repeatedly loosen. brakes are powerfull enough to flex
brakes poor, easily forks and frame. Lights not tried.
sorted. No pump.
This is just a brief comparison between the bikes. I like the kalkhoff but the gears take some getting used to. And yes it's bloody fast, manual sais 28 mph
assistance cut off and i do not doubt it. The big wheels of the kalkhoff absorb a lot of the road making riding a pleasure. Riding the bike without power i found not much better than the wisper. Pulling away from lights the wisper has it, combine pedal and throttle, it's quick.
Which bike do i prefer. Kalkhoff has the speed, ten minutes quicker to work,
though the new 16 inch geared 350w dapush motor (off road) that myself and my workmate ordered could change that when it arrives in the country.
The wisper is more fun to ride i can't bear to part with it. But For me the kalkhoff has it.
appoligies for spelling and poor grammer.
Mike.
