This bike was loaned to us by KTM as a test bike at Redbridge and the Manifold Trail, unfortunately we wont have it for the Rutland or Eden event.
It was not on my 'intended to stock list' because I had decided I was going to stock only Bosch powered bikes in the KTM range. However,my colleague at Manifold took the bike on a long test ride and was really impressed,I didn't have time to ride it.
Would be helpful to have others comments on this bike?
I understand it is a new bike for 2013,I think the price is about £2600.00
Thanks for your opionions
KudosDave

We also stock KTM bikes and agree the range is too large but it is designed for Europe so in places like Germany and Netherlands where sales are alot higher they can probably justify it. However in UK I think it is best to select the most appropriate bikes for your company. Note most bikes have at least two types of frame and several frame sizes within that which equates to more than 250 bikes ;)

I tested the KTM eRace 650p at Redbridge and must confess to it being the best ride of the day on the track. Best in the climb and comfortable riding position for my requirements.

Blast! I missed that one, but hopefully it'll be at the World Championships Bristol show in June.

Those interested in the KTM e-Race P650 might wish to see the latest, 95 -April, edition of AtoB Magazine which has a full review of this bike.

I told him we have Macina Cross 400 in stock - £10 well spent ;). Fair review, I loved the bike personally it is currently my joint favourite with AVE SH-9.

I tend to find hub gear bikes noticeably less powerful also on KTM Bosch hub gears maximum assistance is 200% compared to 250% on derailleur (got answer from KTM as conflicting information on leaflet on Bosch website). However it depends what you want, hub gears are easier to maintain. Hopefully the UK market will move towards the high end.

Currently are best selling bike is AVE CH Edition which has the TranzX hub motor system and torque sensor.

There's the KTM Erace with the Bionx direct drive kit, and the Erace 650P with the Panasonic geared kit.

Dave is right you are paying for fancy wheel size which results more expensive forks being required to fit wheel size. eRace much better value. Talking about panasonic version not tried BionX version.

KTM eRace P electric bikes folding bikes

We have 48cm version in stock, really nice bike. Also Macina Race 29 (same frame size).

Anyone know where I can get an erace P in the smallest frame size? Ideally I wanted to purchase close to home but thats not possible because no one has any stock.

Sorry we only have the 48 not the 43. However eRace 650 is available in 43cm. Good luck.
