Hi does anyone know where i can get a replacement back rack for my kudos king alivio 24 ?

The weld on the side has gave way

Have you tried Kudos? I broke the rack on my Tourer and got a new one from Kudos.

Yeah rang them they dont do them no more . So need to find some sort of alternative to mount the battery on

Mine went.

Broke away from that part that fixes to the support bit that goes down to the end of the chain stays near the axle thus making it completely useless.

I’ve got the gear and so I could make a work around. If you can find a couple of mild steel bolts that can be slid inside the rack tubing where the weld broke and then some flat bar that can be used as a bridge between the two then all you need to do is find someone to weld the parts together. When that has been done drill a hole is the centre of the bridge and then bolt it to the original upright support. Drill a hole through the alloy rack tubing and the bolts, drill and tap and put a small bolt in, that prevents the rack from being able to be pulled off the bolts. That’s similar to what I did and it has worked a treat, solid as a rock.

If you can’t do it yourself you will have to find a tin smith/metal fabricator to do it for you. Shouldn’t cost much and one thing you will know for sure is that it will be a lot stronger than when you got it from Kudos.
