Today tied the Garmin Navigator to the front light, on the handlebar, by cable ties, all seemed well until one almighty clatter. Because of the extra weight of the Garmin the light had broken away from it's bracket, which was still in tact, and shattered on the road , however the Garmin survived without a scratch. Iv'e now cable tied the Garmin directly to the handlebars of the Wisper and it seems ok.
Embarassing having to walk around in the middle of a fairly busy road though looking for and eventually picking up the remains of the light, (in the hope of repair), and it's batteries.
