Yes Eddie, we are in the second decade of this 21st century but still, it's possible to buy, (if you really want one) an ebike of 30Kgs, replete with SLA power from ebay.

At £299 complete, it wouldn't surprise me if one of our members snatched their hand off and nominated it in the next ebike of the year poll!

I think that this is a major problem for the manufacturers.
Some people want what is basically a bike, either road or off road type, as light and sporty as possible, with almost hidden electric support.
Others would prefer something more akin to a low powered moped that requires as little pedalling as possible.
