As we all know, there is no such thing as an inflatable puncture proof tyre, even the legendary Schwalbe Marathon Plus has it's weakness, the best we can hope for is puncture resistance.
Below is an example of of an MP+ Tour from my son's bike punctured by a piece of glass approximately 8mm in length.
On close examination, the tread had lots of small pieces of grit, flint and glass in it which I have not seen on my MTB with the same tyres.
