Mid bike to rear wheel conversion?

Hi there, i have a 2015 Nihola 2.0 . It comes with a Sunstar mid bike motor and rear battery carriage.

The battery is about dead but Sunstar went bankrupt. Its a heavy cargo trike and the mid bike motor barely made it up the hill with a lot of added effort by me.

Im looking to replace the battery/motor system. Im a newby and know only basics. Can i just ignore the mid motor and put a back wheel motor on? Id love to have something with good hill power. I charge every night anyway and go only 10km tops each day.

I would suggest replacing your Sunstar S03 with a Bafang BBS01B kit.
