Mirror with throttle

A mirror seems like a good idea...although I have never used one before.
I am very new (first time out today) to e-bikes and have a 20" folding style bike so it will fit in the motorhome. I am busy pinching bits like the saddle from my Giant XCR 4.5 that has been sitting in the shed for a disgracefully long time. Perhaps I could get a kit to fit on that?

Anyway, I want to browse here and pick your brains, but one question comes to mind straight away. How would a mirror work on the bar when there is a throttle ? Wouldn't it turn downwards?

I must be missing something.....

Welcome!

Typically throttle are half grip, on the inside of the grip. So the end of the grip where you would fix a mirror won't move

Ah....mine is a full grip. AS electrobike. A cheap starter so I suppose it has to cut some corners.

If you open up the end of the twistgrip and slide it along the handle bars by a mm or 2 then insert a bar end mirror like one of these which I highly recommend Mirrycle MTB Bar End Mountain Bicycle Mirror True
