Motor Running BACKWARDS - required reverse decision.

As seen in attached photo, the controller plugs are on the left, therefore motor on right.

This is the only phase wire combination that allowed the motor to run forward, with the motor cable connections on correct side, (right) chain side.

You wouldn't guess that I bought these as a "conversion kit" from the same Aliexpress shop (Someday) who will only respond by telling me they've "already contacted their leader".

I have a 20Ah battery to take me further however, with this only forward phase wire combination its completely depleted with both battery and controller seriously too hot to the touch after only 4 kilometres of flat terrain riding.

Obviously I need to also swap some hall-effect wires but need some positive reassurance to do that with confidence.
It seams logical to me to follow the same colour combination mismatch.

Well that was wrong too, it ran backwards again, so I swapped the phase wires to correct colour, with that the motor appears to be frozen, just let out a small grunt.

So I swapped the three hall-sensor wires using all the colour combinations, all with no success.

Seriously the best motor sound, being no motor vibration, is achieved with all the hall & motor correct colour combinations , so the motor runs backwards.

Therefore my only option in to reverse the wheel, putting all the motor wires on wrong side of the bicycle. Am I the only one in the universe this has happened to? I think not.

Reversing the wheel is contrary to all the "expert" opinions I've read on the Internet.

Lucky for me its a front wheel. I'd never buy a back wheel motor as all the weight on the back, in my mind, would render a bicycle to work like like a bucking hoarse. Front wheel off the ground most of the time. That's not what a serious rider wants.

After I've reversed the wheel I'll let you know how the battery & controller likes this in the long term.
