On the weekend I managed a trip of 184 miles. Saturday was 94 miles and Sunday was 90 miles. 6 hours each way on my recumbent trike. 14Wh/mile average (I think) with a 19mph average speed. It was fun but oh so long and my knees hurt so I was putting in some effort. It just shows what can be done with an electric bike. I used 3 ezee batteries each way with a range of 25 to 30 miles per battery and a smaller battery after they ran out. I wonder how much money I saved. Petrol in car would have been £50 but electricity cost maybe a £1. Thats an earning of £4 per hour - I am so cheap!

Use some of the money you saved and buy some cameras! ... There must have been some great sites in those 184 miles ... 19mph average is very impressive. Well done Peter.

Congratulations on the distance achieved, impressive! But isn't 90 miles in 6 hours 15mph? or did you have an hours stop...

Wow that's some distance to do under your own steam even with an electric assist.
Impressive none the less so long as you don't have to anywhere that quickly!

Hope you had a nice time doing it!

Well spotted NRG, I had a few very short breaks to change batteries and drink some water and traffic through Oxford, Banbury and Leicester sorted out the rest of the time. I got the data off the Cycleanalyst and ride time was actually 4h 30m one way and 4h 40m the other but it was actually 6hrs door to door.
I always wanted to try this and define what my range was and how good my batteries are. It turns out that my ezee batteries have over 9Ah (>300Wh) and probably more if it wasn't for those pesky hills and my desire to fly at over 20mph dropping the volts below the cut off.
But miraculously I didn't get a puncture or any problems in all those miles but my ride to work yesterday (6 miles) and I got a puncture - typical.

Well done...that is really impressive....I bet you had a fantastic weekend....
Most I have done in one day is 55 miles with my brother driving around devon/somerset/dorset doing as much traffic free as we could in one day.....obviously we spent quite a bit of time driving between the routes.........needless to say with my bikes battery capacity I was having to switch it off quite a bit to save power, but we still managed a large part of the tarka trail, the granite way and maiden newton to dorchester......a fabulous day out with my brother that i will cherish....
