My new top speed on a flat road is 33mph. My feet going like a spinning top and a smile on my face.

Now I know your're all impressed but before you get too impressed I'd best tell you, there was the mother of all tail winds.

Going home uphill into that same wind, which was now a headwind, was not quite so record breaking.

However 33mph is 33 mph.

So it was flat on the way in but it's up hill on the way back?

I often hit about that if my strava is correct, today was wet tho so I stayed slow and safe. Also given the direction I go to work and back I had the mother of all cross winds on the way into work so anything over about 15mph I could feel the wind grabbing me a bit too much.

I never go home the same was as I leave.

Actually it makes no difference how I go home, I live at the top of a hill.

Story of my life... The same way as a headwind when outbound is invariably blowing right in your earhole all the way home
