Picked up the new 705SE for my wife week before last and had a week away in our motorhome touring along the Loire River. It is a lovely bike, and the pictures on Wisper site (and mine) don’t really do it justice........It is much more impressive looking in the flesh. Now that it has the same running gear as my 905SE it powers along beautifully. I am sure it will be a success for Wisper.
The swept back handle bars take a bit of getting used to, but the upright position is very comfortable, and I kinda prefer it to my bike as less strain on the arms and shoulders. Don’t really miss the front suspension but it needs a seat post unit IMO more than access via the tip up seat to the battery. What I do miss, simply from a motorhoming point of view is the fold down handlebars of my 905SE as not being able to do this makes it a tight fit in the motorhome garage. Also rather then all the cables going back to the control box separately bound together, they have a junction box under the handlebars and I have concerns for the robustness of this arrangement.......other than that it is a smashing bike! And I would consider one myself if it weren’t for the girlie handlebars lol But I guess straight handle bars wouldn’t work on this set up.........
