New battery needed

I need a new battery for my old Smarta LX e-bike. It is a Silverfish style, 36V, Ah. It is confusing when looking at Amazon, Ebay etc, where there are plenty of this type of battery, but it is not clear whether they will fit and whether the output slots (++--), reading from the left in riding position, are common in all of these batteries. Any advice please?

Most of the Silverfish batteries should fit just look at the dimensions to compare with yours, each battery usually comes with a new fitting kit so you can replace like for like to know the battery will fit and wire the fitting correctly. With any battery you shouldn't take it for granted that polarity is correct always use a meter to check the polarity and the pinout polarity order is the same as your existing.

Ebikebatteries.co.uk have these Silverfish style batteries advertised. Confusingly they say they're LG MG1 celled (cylindrical 18650's), then below say "pouch" cells used.
Check, and select whether top or bottom power connection type required for your application. £280 last time i looked.

Mg1 not one of LG's best cells.
