Does anyone know where I can get a replacement battery 37v 8.8 Ah Lithium-ion for a Minerva step through electric bike?

Welcome Gina!

If that's the Minerva sold by e-bikes direct, they would be a first port of call. If you want your battery recelled, ebike batteries are often recommended here (there'll be an ad in the margins of this page). Or if you want help sourcing a third party battery, you'll need to post clear pictures of the one you have to help identify the case and connector styles (there are so many variations available).

Thanks.

e-Bikes Direct are unable to source a new battery or parts.

Have emailed e bike batteries to enquire re: new or re-cell.

Will take photos and post.

This is the issue with a lot of these "online ebikes" from China
No spares backup or after sales. lf it fails under warranty (and the ship isn't stuck in the Suez Canal) you'll get a replacement.
After that you are on your own.

That's why l bought my Ebike from a company based in the U.K., it cost more but at least l know it won't be scrap after two years

My betting is the OP's battery (and likely everything else fitted to their bike) is generic and easily replaceable. All the poster needs to do is post a pic so we can see what's needed, and there'll be any number of members here who'll know exactly where to buy one... and likely for far less than any "official" replacement.

If we can't see what the poster wants we can't really help source the part, can we?

With most simple generic batteries there is a often a simple work around.
Recently someone had a folding bike acquired wanting a battery, a few pics , suggestions and a bit of simple diy and they had a working bike for little over £120.
Though the same style battery couldn't be found a suitable different type was found and easily retrofitted.
Same goes for a couple of freego owners, given a pic and one can recommend a course of action that doesn't cost mega bucks.

Generic type batteries are generally simple to give a recommend as long as the battery isn't integrated in the frame, other wise one is looking at a re-cell service.
