Hello,
I am new to electric bicycles, but have been playing with pedal cycles since I was around eight years old, which is a long time.
I love playing with almost anything electrical or mechanical from watches (sadly no longer due to eyesight) through to cars and to some of the largest power stations in the world.
I am an avid recycler and have bought second hand several old electric bicycles which I am now in the process of evaluating.
I have stripped three rear hubs, one brushless with a permanent rotating magnetic field, one Wan Lian with brushes and another rather old sealed unit which has a large casing within the outer casing (still in progress). More on my findings later, as this is just by way of an introduction.
