Evening all, I'm Jez, and on my 4th ebike, but 2nd pedelec. I have a Samebike 20LVXD30-II, and just looking for a few solutions to a couple of little things I'd like to change on it. As a lot of u have probably experienced, every bike shop I've walked into or called, as soon as I tell them what bike I have, treat u like some sort of criminal and refuse to touch it. So if I want anything doing on it, I'll have to do it myself.. So I'll be having a good nose here how some of u guys have solved the same issues... TIA Jez

One will find that with nearly all cycle shops that ;
1. Haven''t supplied the bike .
2. It is a hub bike.
3. It is illegal speed control device and 250w+.

Most don't have a clue unless it can be plugged to a pc to tell them what is wrong with it.

One will find a high percentage of oners on the forum do all of their maintenance and a quite a few of us build our bikes from scratch . So their is awealth of knowledge for diy kit bikes and generic type bikes.

Hand shaking and CAN bus systems are out of the question generally and are the domain of dealers as the main bike industry have opted for closed system bikes and no right for diy repair.
That is the real big can of worms .
