Hi, new to the forum, and pretty new to eMTB's too.
I'm 62 and recovering from significant spinal surgeries after a near catastrophic motorbike accident in '22. Used to cycle a little, but due to nerve damage I've gone over to an eMTB for some help as no longer able to pedal without some support.
Riding around the West Mids on a Cube reaction hybrid race and frequently covering 40 - 50 miles around the canal network.
I put on a lot of weight after my injuries that included the broken spine and a brain injury, but the bike has helped me shift 6 1/2 stone so far.... more to go...
No doubt I'll have questions as time goes on.
