Nexus Auto X

Hi everyone.
Can anyone tell me if Nexus Auto X automatic 3 Speed Mayfair bikes are any good and if they are rare? I have heard they have a motor that only runs off aa batteries?
Any info would be really appreciated

I think you're misunderstanding something. That's an auto-shifting gearbox. If it has AA batteries, they're only for the shifting. I guess it's similar to the Gocycle that has an auto 3-speed shifter, which is powered by an RC servo.
