Noisy drive train on Kalkhoff Pro-connect (panasonic motor)

I wanted to record my experience with the drive train of my Kalkhoff Pro Connect purchased new in 2011. In all other respects it has been terrific. But the clicking and rattling arising from the slipping tensioning sprocket adjacent to the motor sprocket has become more and more annoying. Thankfully, it was remarkably easy to fix thanks to this post. Simply replaced the 9-tooth motor sprocket with a 12-tooth sprocket and it now sounds like it did when I bought it and I no longer get dirty looks that imply poor bike maintenance habits on my part. Thanks Vaasa!!

Another satisfied Panasonic customer. Kalkhoff were fools to stop using that motor.
