Not impressed with Haibike

I was to the LBS yesterday and they had a Haibike Emtb hardtail (sorry, don't remember the model). I thought it had the new 2020 Bosch motor as it was so small. When I asked, the owner he said it was 2019. I took a closer look and it looked small because there was practically no protection and the welding was sloppy.
I have a Cube Stereo Hybrid and it is built like a tank.
Does anyone else have this impression of the Haibike?

My issue with haibike is there extra wheel on the full suspension models
Looks to me like an after thought to a badly designed rear end
But like so many other things they try and sell it as some sort of brilliant design feature
As for the welds I've never got close enough to inspect one

i change the ses wheel bearing about 2-3 times a year and all pivot bolts have been lock tight otherwise they fall off

There's an idler sprocket on the frame to lift the chain higher to clear the suspension pivot. That's necessary on some rear suspension bikes because of the small drive sprocket on the Bosch CX motors.

it has not fell off yet it just eats bearings so get packs of ten
