OK to use motor only?

Having recently suffered a thigh injury which restricts my ability to pedal manually I was wondering whether using motor only is an option? I have a step thru Woosh Santana CD and can just lift my affected through the frama and onto the pedal at the lowest point. My question is would I risk damaging the motor in any way? I weigh 95kg. and the journey would be local say up to 4 miles in one go.

Hi John, you can ride the Santana CD on throttle alone. Try to avoid the highest gears (6,7), the smallest cogs at the rear always put more stress on the motors than the larger cogs.

Excellent thanks. I'm in York so no big hills either.
