Hi Folks ,
Im back after a break with some good news from a Dillenger customer manager whos hopefully right into good customer relations to solve my requests.
Our two Dillenger Cheetah folding -bikes are running without problem and although heavy ,little 16" wheel bikes , have surprising kick and uphill power.
So far ive never needed to fold them or lift them into a car .The Algarve Autumn this year has been very sunny and without wind so good for trips out.
i started out with a fixed wheel bike ,,and now i potter about on this gearless e -bike for easy cycling ,or sometimes ride a 21 gear bike for a bit of exercise .
The cut off point for speed is about 20 kms p h. Plus theres some downhill momentum .On the flat im gasping for some gears to build up speed. The uphill speed with pedaling is quite good in general. The best idea with these bikes is not to pull on the handlebars for more power but to relax the grip, and sit upright ,as it has a mid -frame suspension unit. Doing this cuts out any wheel wobble. I would describe this bike as a mobility gadget for pottering about and going places, light shopping and maybe for getting "retired" cyclists back into the saddle again. For a very economic price it has some cleverly thought out features.
