I was concerned about over charging my battery if I forgot about it.
Screwfix sell a plug in 24 hour timer that is simple to set.
Product code 44241 £3.99
It is very small and plugs into the socket, it has a socket on its front so you plug the charger in there.
I just dial 6 hours because experience has shown that is enough generally, but you can set it for less if just topping up.

My daughter has left my Powacycle windsor battery plugged in for god knows how long when I have mistakenly trusted her to look after it whilst being in Spain and it certainly hasnt done it any harm......its still performing well and holding a full charge after 2 years....

I think all Lithium battery chargers stop charging automatically so you shouldn't have a problem but as many have reported before it's best not to leave it on overnight or permanently.

Well, there is a fire hazard from the batteries. As Flecc explained, Lithium metal spikes can grow inside them and cause a huge short. Very rare indeed but best avoided.
