Hi guys I needed to buy a pedal assist sener for my ebike as the other one went bad on my display could choose from 0 to 5 on pedal assist 0 no power 5 maximum.
My new one works but full power all the time ftom 0 to 5 but should not be giving power when its on 0
Doing my head in as I've only changed the pas sensor

The type of pedal sensor has absolutely no effect on the control system. All it does is send a pulsed 5V signal when you're pedalling. It's the controller and LCD that decide how to use that signal.

My guess is that you've connected it to the wrong connector, like the throttle one.

Some thing wrong because the throttle as been pluged in that is working I will recheck the wiring to see if the throttle is plugged into the wrong socket but iam 100% I've checked that and checked with the wiring diagram will post a video soon

Triple checked three times still no joy the colour's are red blue yellow red 5v blue signal and yellow earth I've even unplugged the throttle and tryed it still in there just to make sure tryed all the settings no joy just cannot unstand why full power even on 0 setting. Do you think the controller is at fault or the display

Display only selects the level, controller is the brains of the bike.
