Pedal sensor problem

I replaced a faulty pedal with a replacement from amazon. Now it works but when I pedal backwards it also works. Can anyone help?

your controller is programmed for DH pedal sensor.
Normal sensor will send pulses when you rotate the cranks forward or backward.
you need a King Meter dual hall pedal sensor which sends pulses only when you rotate the cranks forward.

How many magnets in the PAS? What have you set P13 to?

I have p13 set to 12
