If I wanted to fit a second battery to my Kudos tourer, where would I find a plug to fit into my controller and a socket to attach to my battery? It's got 4 flat pins in a straight line.

That's not the place to connect it. You need to open the black plastic box to find the red and black battery wires in there. I'd cut off the bullet connectors between your controller and battery, and extend both of them out through the box where the wires come out, and join them with a Deans connector outside. Then you can put another Deans on your new battery as well so thatyou can easily swap between the batteries.

If it is just to extend range it might be easier to put on a set of panniers or similar and just swap as required.
