Powabyke - Euro, maintenance?

Hi,

I have a Powabyke Euro. Have had it for several years and am happy with it.

What, if any maintenance work should I be doing to the hub motor? Never done any. It works OK but is noisier than it used to be. Do they lose power with age/wear? It may be me but I feel its not as powerful as it used to be.
