Finding my (electric) wheels

I noted this week that my rear light was no longer working on my Pro Connect so have today had a little look.

The connections looked a bit fragile so decided to redo them BUT didn't note which way around they went ! Have one cable with a white strip and the other solid black, one terminal has a 'lightening bolt' the other a circle (earth ?). Can a kindly knowledgable person advise the best way to put it all back together so as not to blow anything up !!

Managed to get the bulb out eventually (bit of a struggle) and it seems to be a Phillips 6v 0.6W - so if the redone connections don't fix it l'll be off hunting for a replacement or might plump for an LED version.

The wire with the white stripe goes onto the lightening bolt terminal, well it does on my bike anyway. If you have a filament type bulb, then it makes no difference.

I don't think an LED light will work on you bike if the power is delivered from the battery. Others have tried and failed.
