Finding my (electric) wheels

Hi, this may sound stupid but my bike (wisper 905SE) rear wheel rim slopes inwards from top to bottom and therefore the brake pads do not contact properly, has anyone else come across this and managed to rectify.

Thanks

Iain

There's normally two balljoint faces in the collars of the brake pad stems Iain.

If you slacken the nuts, the ballfaces pivot in all planes to get flat alignment between pad and rim surface. Post back if you find that's not so on yours.

Brake adjustment

Hi Bambo, welcome to the Forum and thanks Flecc,

Yes the rear brakes are totally adjustable, make sure that the brake shoe contact is with the silver rim rather than the black inner part of the wheel.

If you have any problems post it here all call Phil or Doug on 01425 627 641, they will talk you through the adjustment process.

Happy cycling!

Best regards David
