Replacing controls with S830 controller

My friend has an ancheer foldable bike (350W) and there is no digital display and the settings are limited. Has anyone had any luck fitting an S830 LCD panel?

It's better to stick with a Brainpower and S866 LCD or KT controller with LVD3, as all the settings are well known.
