Say Hi and a question on Oxygen LS kit

Just wanted to say Hi to everyone. Great site!

I'm new to e-bike. Had an idea to get involved some time ago but time goes quick... So I've got a used Oxygen LS kit. Front hub motor with bottle battery.

I haven't tested the kit yet. Hopefully soon will get some time to install it.

And a question:

I have been cleaning battery bracket/controller and under the plastic cover at the bottom where the wires go out there is one disconnected wire. Please see the image attached.
Can anyone tell me what it is for?
