Hi folks,
I have (FINALLY!) got round to fitting shrader adaptors to my agattu tyre valves. I have also purchased a very nice pump which has enabled me to (FINALLY and EFFORTLESSLY) blow the tyres up to the correct pressure which I am assuming is is 60psi?
My question is.. How safe are these adaptors? They sit on top of the valve rather precariously and I am worried that vibrartion could cause them to unscrew and blowout.( downhill could be catastrophic:eek: )

Hi Tom

I never used to use the valve converters in situ but rather carried it with me to use if required. Anywere where there is threaded contact runs the risk of falling off. Just think how many valve dustcaps disappear.

My schrader->woods adaptor is a 3" length of 6mm plastic hose from my sprinkler system, with some insulation tape wrapped around one end to make it schrader sized. 8-months old so far. Never let me down yet. Regularly used to achieve 65psi.
