My powabyke has a gel seat as standard but it's never been the most comfortable of the places where I put the matching part of myself. In fact it doesn't seem very gel like although better than some plain saddles I've tried, but it probably will be a cheap one they fit.
Has anyone got a recommendation for a (comfy) gel saddle. I'm not interested in the hand made leather one that molds to your shape after months of use, just something to make part of me feel more comfy!
thanks

I see there are gel seat covers on ebay? Are these any good? Although it seems like something that could be removed too easily so a full seat seems a bit more sensible.

I have a Brooks and the two Spoons, they all very comfy, and the brooks didnt take any breaking in either, it was comfy from the moment i fitted it, but i did note that it changed shape after a couple of weeks. Still, i admit it, i bought the Brooks for the name and the looks :D The Spoon is cheaper, lighter and just as comfy, and there are leather covered versions of that too (thin leather with padding, not like Brooks tensioned thick leather), or titanium ones which are 16 whole grams lighter for twice the price.

Whatever floats your boat :D

I know one guy who suffered until he got used to his Brooks, maybe the Brooks getting used to him. I'd rather not go through that.

The spoon looks a good bet- good reviews and a good price too.
