Hi all

Dont know whats going on but when i brake and not move the pedals just rolling some times the motor kicks in on its own is this a sign of the sensor going or controller box ?

Bike is the KUDOS king

thanks

Rob

PS i have cleaned it with just a damp cloth.

Is this the situation you've got:
The pedal sensor causes the motor to run on for one or two seconds after you stop pedalling if you don't use the brakes.

You ride about using the throttle, whilst pedalling. You let go of the throttle and stop pedalling to slow for a corner, and then you get a short surge of power for no reason. This happens because the controller is still monitoring the pedal sensor even though you're using the throttle. As soon as you let go of the throttle, it switches to the PAS algorithm, which means that you get power for one or two seconds after you stop pedalling, so the power comes back on for a bit. The only solutions are to use the brakes because the brake switches cut power immediately in all circumstances, or stop pedalling a couple of seconds before you let off the throttle.

If it doesn't have a throttle, then the above situation isn't responsible, but I thought that the Kudos King did have a throttle. You need to get it checked out. Nothing that I can think of would do that, not even a faulty PAS sensor. All the causes that I can think of would be related to the throttle.
