I think this photo tells you what he thinks of crank drives.

that's the Shimano unit, most seasoned pedelecers would come to the same conclusion. How about taking on the likes of Bafang Maxdrive, Dapu and Shengyi.

They don't come much more seasoned than WW and I think I can say with confidence that he does not like any crank drives, I very much doubt that eZee will ever produce one.
