Whilst out on my trike today, reported in another thread, I stopped to borrow a screwdriver from a workman to tighten a mirror. We got chatting about electric bikes, like you do, and he told me that he had 2 Hercules bike with electric motors and dud batteries. I had no idea what they looked like so I 'Googled' and this is what I found, quite bizarre, I have never seen anything like, but I bet I know who has
Hercules Gents 3 speed Bicycle With Electric assist on eBay (end time 03-Apr-11 14:20:37 BST) Looks pretty scarey to me and the handling must be awfull with all that weight on the right front fork.
I suggested the owner join the forum and start a thread about his bikes. I might take a run out to where he was working tomorrow and have another chat.
