Does anyone know how these motors come apart? I bought a motor kit from BMS battery and after much emailing managed to sort out the wiring connections. However on setting off on first test trip the two axle retaining washers broke allowing the axle to spin in the forks which then wrapped the motor wire round the axle resulting in total failure. I think the wiring has become strained and damaged inside the hub. BMS say motor cannot be taken apart but does anyone out there know if this can be done?
