When I joined this forum on May 1st, I knew nothing about electric bikes.

I am now an expert (oh yeah?), thanks to all of you who have helped me in my search for one to buy.

I have ordered a Wisper 905se City S from PowaRider, delivery in a few weeks, so when it comes I will no doubt be asking more silly questions, this time specifically about Wispers.

Just for the record, I also looked closely at Kalkhoffs and Juicybikes; I loved the German solidity of the Kalkhoffs, but the absence of a true throttle meant that it wasn't the bike to cope with my disabilities, unfortunately. Juicybikes seem such good value, and Bob Wales (their distributor) is such a helpful man, that I regret living so far away from Derbyshire, otherwise my choice would have been much more difficult. (I know most of you have told me that there are few teething problems with a brand new e-bike, but I would still rather be within driving distance of the supplier, just in case!)

Thanks once again.

Allen.
