He pleaded guilty to violent disorder. Blame his solicitors but not the justice system.
Second time you said exactly the same thing in two different cases in two days.

Two Tier Woosh.

Put people in jail who I don't like the look of, especially when they are obviously not lefty twits.

When you plead guilty, you give up your right to be tried by jury and right to appeal. You can only appeal if the judge or magistrate commit some technical faults like using the wrong tariffs.
You can't argue later that the sentence is too severe. Your solicitor should have discussed the possibility that the sentence may be more than you expect.

Any justice system worthy of the name would not allow people to be locked up for making remarks whether on twitter (Lucy Connolly) or this one. Had he thrown bricks at police or attacked property or persons I would not be making any representation on his behalf. He didn't. He shouted his opinions, while others were being violent. Lucy Connolly while incensed at information she had read made a stupid tweet and within two and a half hours she took it down and posted a remark apologising for her ill-tempered remark. This was long before anyone came knocking at her door.

In both cases the people concerned were of limited means. Connolly was a child minder and this fellow works for a tarmac company. Such people can not afford to instruct the best barristers and lawyers. ANY just system would not have imposed sentences like these.

What they REALLY did wrong was to offer to upset the alliance of supporters of unrestricted migration and multiculturalism.

I think we will very soon see a MASSIVE overturning of our politics, because for decades the wishes of the vast majority of the people of this country have been ignored.

Neither of the individuals mentioned here should have done what they did - and had they been educated middle class people, they would most likely have restrained their passions and attempted to express their feelings in a more moderate way, but it is perfectly clear that the forces of law and order are PARTICULARLY virulently fierce against people who express opinions out of favour with the alliance of left and centre politicians and the Chatterarti such as the Guardian tendency etc.

The latest opinion polls show what is happening in response to the frustrations of a great mass of ordinary people.

A nine month sentence suspended for two years for this???????

Contrast two and a half years jail for the cases discussed above.

Teacher engages in sex with a child in his car and takes her to a travel lodge for sex. Staff report the obviously under aged girl with a twenty-seven year old man and police arrest him...... Suspended sentence.

It appears that guy was lucky that the police arrested him before he did worse. He could have got an extra 10 years prisonfor rape if the police arrive the next day.
Don't forget the additional bans and 1 life time ban that were imposed on top of the suspended sentence.

The point is that unlike Connolly and the shouting oaf mentioned above, he walked out of court with only some obligatory work penalties and a derisory amount of costs etc.

As for doing worse - well you are right, but the article says he had the girl in his car and was fondling her breasts while she handled his penis. These matters were accepted as fact - but no 30 months in chokey for him......

Of course he isn't allowed in a school again... To allow that would be ridiculous. That is not a penalty; it is a safety precaution.

Are you not prepared to take on the point that there is one law for some and another for the hoy polloi?
