the best SLA batteries and where to obtain them.

What are the best SLA batteries for my Izip Ezgo e.bike,and where can i obtain them,i am a small fish swimming with the big fish when it comes to E.bikes.

hi Brian you need to take you batteries out and have a look at them to get the physical dimensions, capacity in AH, voltage and connection type.

That way you can make sure you are buying an equivalent battery. Make sure that you buy a battery that is designed for cyclic use.

Some of the cheaper lead acid batteries are designed for things like backup power for a burglar alarm (known as float or standby use) where the battery is just sitting there fully charged and is rarely fully discharged. Using a battery like this on an electric bike and it will not last for very many charge / discharge cycles before it dies.
