After a 4 month wait the (Pro Connect 53cm), arrived yesterday.

When the battery was charging I took it out for a 3 mile ride and first impression was (as most people have said), the gearing is too low. I never used anything lower than 4th.

The bike itself looks quality and the finish is excellent. One thing that didn't work when tried was the back light, which looks to have bare wires showing. I don't know whether this is correct, anybody out there know different?

Anyway took it out for a spin today and yes it does everying you ask of it and more. I tried it up some really steep hills and never used anything lower than 4th and it was on medium power.

The brakes are superb only need to touch the levers and you could feel a response.

Many thanks to Flecc for his review and opinions when I was in two minds what to go for. Thanks to Lloyd of 50C who was very patient and understanding and managed to get it out on time!

Hi John

The wires are around what looks like a connector but it doesn't look like anything is holding them in. I don't think the wires should be visible.

Any thoughts anyone.

Just been down the shed and had a look at mine. Its simply wires bent over the plastic 'plug' and then that is pushed in a hole on the underneath of the light on the right hand side (just like a dynamo version)

Hi John

So the bare wires are visible on your light as well. If so the fault must be something else.
