I contacted Mark on Wednesday about the possibility of Cytronex building me a 160 rpm motored front wheel. He explained he would need to order the parts as its not an item they stock.

Just home for the day and the wheel's here waiting for me

Impressive. I've always found Cytronex very responsive. :)

Why the 160rpm? More torque for uphill?

Yes. I'm 18 stone, a uniped(one leg:D ) and live in a hilly area. The standard 175 motor works very well but I seldom use the high power mode. I think the slower motor will be more efficient uphills and give me a slightly better range. I can swap between wheels depending on the routes I choose.
