And without resorting to steroids from lancearmstrong.com. Cadence sensing mid-drive with a large capacity battery driving a 20" rear wheel, is a great combination for dragging cargo and/or fatsos up to higher altitudes. Easier, now that I have increased motor power from the legal 540W I was using back then, to an equally legal 720W. Gain altitude with relaxed attitude with your fully programmable Bafang BBS01B mid-drive, if you can find one. Punier motors need not apply. I was fatter then too.

It's welded with an ancient sip stick welder. 40 yr old big heavy transformer lump. I'm sorely tempted by the hand held stick guns that keep popping up on Facebook.
Yes, I forgot, welded not brazed. Thanks for pointing those out, I had no idea they could be picked up so cheap.

Wouldnt mind knowing a bit more about arc welding kit available these days. Did a bit when younger, but not enough to know what I'd be looking for.

If they're the same ones as I see on YouTube ads, they're completely fake. They show you welding with a £15,000 laser welder, and they send you a soldering iron.

Have a look at Staticarc. They do some reasonable priced invertor welders suitable for the DIY’er.
I bought a stick welder for about £65, then sold it and bought their 140amp invertor stick, MIG gas/ gas less and potential TIG welder if purchasing the TIG attachment for about £25.
My welding is ok for trailers and so forth but wouldn’t tackle anything seriously structural at present.
Look up Tim Welds on youtube for welding advice. He doesn’t slag of DIY Welders.

This pricey variable angle gizmo looks fun for attempting to weld your own bike frame design. Of course if I did the welding, it's bound to fall to pieces while riding if not before.

Bessey is pricey, but theres likely to be other makes not as much.

I saw a vid a bit back about the parkside mig welder. Lots of folk had been telling me it was utter pants and not worth even considering, but then i saw a yt vid where we had a pro welder testing it out making a large set of railings. Filmed at his workshop, which was obviously a professional metal fabrication business.
He said it was not bad, but ideal for the occasional home user.

Going back to the original post, lots of places to connect a trailer.
Lots of places to connect another nuts bike. A bunch of nuts, a welder, two Grin laser engraved 125W rated hub motors and you're set. Imagine the trailer you'd be able to haul with 30A each.
