Type of battery

We had a 36v battery recelled a couple of years ago and they sent the old pack back to us. There is a Charity shop here that takes Lithium-ion batteries & ships them abroad for reuse. But they only take that type. Are these Lithium-ion?

They are lithium - polymer pouch cells so no I doubt it.
I bin them after I have dumped them in a bucket of water for a few days to kill them and make them safe.
